Virtual Corporation is proud to be an annual sponsor for Association of Continuity Professionals (ACP).
We will be attending the ACP- Orange County chapter Wednesday, May 8th, 2019.
This event will bring together business leaders providing a unique experience for knowledge exchange, discussion, and networking.
Join influential Cybersecurity leader, Mike Trpkosh from Virtual Corporation to learn about the basic components or building blocks of a cybersecurity program and how to use them to protect your organization and help alleviate the fear often associated with “cybersecurity”.
“Cybersecurity…what does it all mean today?”
Today, the term “cybersecurity” often strikes fear in the executive leadership, of organizations, everywhere. Whether it’s the fear of a data breach and the associated brand degradation, reputational loss and/or monetary fines, or simply the unknowns regarding the constantly evolving threatscape we operate within, cybersecurity has become an integral component of the digital arena we operate within every day.
Cybersecurity, in its simplest form, refers to defenses related to electronic data. A cybersecurity program is merely a collection of activities, tasks, or components working together or alone in an endless quest to protect the digital assets of an organization. Effective programs consist of a basic set of components that provide a layered approach to protection or “defense in depth”.
Mike Trpkosh creates a security vision with hands-on involvement from planning through execution in medium to large, heterogeneous environments. Mike demonstrates outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills with a proven ability to conceptualize solutions to challenging situations and implement practical, cost-effective solutions.

It’s your “bounce-back-ability”.
Frequently, Business Continuity Professionals are faced with the task of “pushing a rope uphill”, funding challenges, resource challenges, etc… but manage to continue forward. Participants in this session will receive real-world strategies they can immediately deploy in their current positions to improve job satisfaction and effectively spread their Resiliency passions.
